Debbie Iwasaki, MSPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS

Debbie graduated with her bachelors degree in Kinesiology from UCLA and her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She is a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), as well a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Debbie is a manual therapist with a diverse background in Physical Therapy, beginning with an early stint in In-patient Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital in Boston, MA. She then moved on to work in Out-Patient Orthopedics for the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinics in both Los Angles and Orange County. Next, she pursued her love of Sports Medicine and for 12 years worked as a Collegiate Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist. Most notably, from 2005-2008 she worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the UCLA Football Team. While at UCLA she was also the Director of Rehabilitation for the Athletic Department, supervising post-operative rehabilitations for all 19 Intercollegiate Athletic teams.

Since moving to the Bay Area, she has been working at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Out-Patient Otrhopedics. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
